This week we focused on preparing our salts list and setting up our experiment. I researched different salt prices for our salt lists and looked more into the chemistry of the salts. We also attended a meeting with applied separations on Thursday, where our experiment was discussed. Additionally, I made a slide presentation for the group to present at our weekly presentations, and finalized some of the poster details on Monday for the Summer Expo. Receiving feedback from various people and sources for the poster was extremely helpful and I was able to learn a lot about how to make such a poster to display a good amount of information without being too wordy.
